Google Chrome is one of the most popular browsers around the world. Every day, Google developers are trying to make its’ users life easier. Perhaps very soon we will be able to try a new feature – the translation of text in images.
At the moment, it’s very easy to get a translation of an entire web page in Chrome by simply clicking on the “Translate” button, but so far this doesn’t work on posters and banners. The tool for translating text inside images has not been launched yet, says IT-Zine. When this feature becomes available, you will have to activate it manually.
Until the Google app launches this feature in the Chrome version, it is possible to translate images using Lens, but it requires a few more steps, notes NIX Solutions. In order to get started, right-click or press and hold on the image, then select “Search Image with Google Lens” from the menu. After that, switch to the “Translate” tab, mark the text and select the target language.
