NIX Solutions: Windows 11 Update – New Features in Microsoft Store for Windows Insiders

Windows 11 users participating in the Windows Insider Program can now explore the exciting additions to the Microsoft Store. The recent introduction of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Apps tab brings a fresh dimension to the store experience. Additionally, Microsoft unveiled auto-generated application feedback summaries at the Build conference earlier this year. Although these summaries are yet to appear in the Microsoft Store, they are expected to be positioned alongside the app rating, providing concise user opinions.

Discovering the AI Apps Tab

The AI Apps tab, located on the left side of the Microsoft Store, offers an array of innovative applications. Positioned just below the Movies & TV section, this tab promises an assortment of AI-powered image-editing apps, such as Luminar Neo, among other cutting-edge tools.

Track App Prices and Make Informed Decisions

Another notable addition to the Microsoft Store is the price tracking feature. Users can now observe price fluctuations for apps over the past 30 days. This valuable information empowers users to make informed decisions about purchasing apps, enabling them to decide whether to buy immediately or wait for a potential sale.

Exciting Updates and Fixes

Furthermore, the Microsoft Store introduces several other updates to enhance user experience. After a two-year wait, users can finally enjoy the inclusion of 3D emoji. Additionally, a bug that prevented Zune players from installing drivers has been resolved, ensuring a smoother experience for Zune device owners.

Availability for Windows Insiders

Windows Insiders across all channels using version 22306.1401.x.x or higher of the Microsoft Store will be able to access the AI app tab and the price tracking feature, notes NIX Solutions. However, Microsoft has not provided a specific timeline for when these features will be available to all users.
